MMB Forecasting Application

The application presents real-time macroeconomic forecasts from estimated macroeconomic and Bayesian time-series models.

You can compare the forecasts of GDP , Inflation , and the Interest Rate graphically through forecast charts and numerically through RMSE tables.

To understand the difference in the forecasting performance, you can also plot the time-series of input variables and read model descriptions.

The application is developed by the research team of the Institute for Monetary and Financial Stability at the Goethe University Frankfurt. It is currently at the internal stage.
